The sports pundits are noting the defending Super Bowl champ Colts are under the radar, going into playoffs, due of course, to the Patriots outlandish perfect season (thus far).

One could say the Pats ALMOST lost 4 times this season, and tho' the spirited Horsemen actually lost 3 times, all 3 were barely, and the last one against Titans doesn't really count, with Peyton and starter company making such an early rest stop exit.

So, expect the Chargers to short-circuit, as P Rivers is no Manning, not even Eli. Colts will stuff the Bolts running game, LT and Turner, and pilfer Rivers' trickle passes.

That leaves Peyton lighting up the scoreboard with slants to Wayne, hand-offs and screens to Adai, mid-length drills to Clark, and hell, if they bust out the Rustoleum, maybe even a few major sparks to Harrison.

And don't expect Vinateri to shank any chip shots, like that shoulda-been-game-winner in San Diego, earlier in the season. Peyton atypically threw more interceptions than an arthritic grandma from Peoria, and the Colts STILL almost won that game.

The Colts will need to get a handle on Volts 5'6" scamperback Sproles, that burned 'em twice on punt or kickoff returns last time. Far as I know, he wasn't lathered in bacon grease, so go get 'em boyz! Get down low or he'll scoot through yer shoelaces!

Colts 27, Volts 17.
